My Story
Harley’s Hugs was born out of love, loss, and a whole lot of heart.
In May of 2023, I said goodbye to my sweet boy Harley, a 9-year-old American Pitbull Terrier, after his brave battle with cancer. Harley was more than a pet—he was my shadow, my couch cuddle buddy, and my cheerful greeter with that unforgettable toothy grin. No matter the day, he always knew when I needed one of his signature kisses or a tail-wagging welcome. He was my heart, and I miss him deeply every single day.
In the midst of grieving, I found comfort in something familiar—crocheting. It started with making cozy scarves for my two current pups, Fiona and Vinnie. With gentle nudges from family and friends, the idea for Harley’s Hugs came to life—a way to honor Harley’s memory and share a little warmth with others.
Now, I create one-of-a-kind handmade scarves, bandannas, and snoods—each made with care, a touch of whimsy, and a whole lot of love. Whether it’s for your own pup or a gift for a fellow dog lover, I pour my heart into every piece.

Measuring for a bandanna
It can be very helpful to provide a picture of your dog when ordering. Keep in mind that yarn can stretch when tying it. If you are not sure what size to order, just contact me! I'm happy to help.
Measuring for a Scarf or Snood
It can be very helpful to provide a picture of your dog when ordering. Not sure if you want a snood or scarf? A snood is made to go up over your dogs ears. However, if you wish, a snood can also be worn as a scarf by scrunching it down.
A scarf is for the neck area only. If you are not sure which one to order or have any questions, contact me! I'm here for you.
